Browser:

A browser performs multiple tasks, it sends a request for a page to the web serverb where the website is stored and the request identifies the page through its URL.

When the user clicks on a hyperlink, the browser sends a new page request to the web server.

Email:

There are two ways of using an email, first is email client and all the emails you recieve are downloaded and stored onto your computer, you must be connected to the internet to be able to send and recieve emails.

Webmail & Hotmail are for managing your emails entirely on the web. You can log into your account on any computer that is connected to the internet.
